What Would You Tell Your Younger Self?

If you could talk to your younger self, what would you say? I would like to hear from my audience; what would you say? I realize that we will never get that chance. There are the usual cliché thoughts - I should have saved more money, continued to exercise, and worked harder. I am a person that doesn’t waste time with regrets or second-guessing my past actions. I firmly believe that I did what was right with the information I had at the time.

I would, however, have been a kinder person a bit sooner in my life. I have always had a great inner circle of friends to count on for anything. They knew that I was like a bulldog who always had their backs. I’ve always had a sense of humor, but I took sarcasm to a greater level upsetting some people.

I started to apply the Platinum Rule when dealing with people. “Treat people as they want to be treated.” My humor is much better received, and staying positive makes life much easier. I feel a few brushes with death and some maturity may have had something to do with it. Please share with me what you would tell your younger self. Until next time, please keep your glass at least half-full.
