Testimonials

“After working on projects with several trainers and mentors, Judy’s passion in mentoring and coaching is one of the most focused and contagious I’ve experienced. She knows how to address and cultivate different levels of experience with patience and understanding.”

“I had the honor of meeting Judy Alter early 2018 when I started working at IIBA. Judy holds the volunteer position of Global Chapter Council Chair and leads our entire team of volunteers. Judy immediately reached out to me and offered to guide me in my new role. She has not only guided me and offered support; she has created my presence. When I was working in the shadows on internal projects, Judy made it her goal to introduce me to key people in our profession. She has given me the platform to coach and inspire others; all while pushing me to be a better version of myself. I have witnessed many instances of Judy being a great observer and listener, she picks up on the smallest things and then with the calmest demeanor offers support/advice. She is the most optimistic person I have had the pleasure of working with, and most importantly calling a friend. Anyone which meets Judy will most likely have a similar experience. She is a natural leader and elevates everyone around her. Judy, thank you for simply ‘being you’
and sharing your passion.”

Judy presented at the Kansas City IIBA Chapter meeting about migrating to SAFe at her company. It was so well received that not only did we sell out ahead of time, no one wanted to leave after the event because everyone wanted to talk to Judy. We had venue staff glaring at us and shoo-ing us out the door.

Not only did Judy's webinar for IIBA Brussels Chapter was one of our best-attended events in 2020, her follow-up on the many questions it drew from the audience demonstrated Judy's dedication in delivering a valuable and tangible result for all attendees.

Judy shared her knowledge and thoughts around positive leadership characteristics with our Chapter. Her experience and genuine interest make her a thoughtful speaker on this topic, and her stories brought the concepts to light. During this virtual session, she connected with the audience and facilitated a robust Q&A session while navigating the audio and chat comments and questions with ease. I welcome the opportunity to hear her speak on other topics. Thank you, Judy!

Judy Alter is a remarkable speaker and leader in the business analysis space. Not only is she an excellent analyst and entrepreneur, but she also has an exceptional heart for advancing the business analysis community and profession. She was generous to speak at our South Florida International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Chapter in August 2020. Judy shared the five characteristics needed to be a great leader. She encouraged us to have a team attitude, to encourage questions and ideas, and lead with our hearts.

Judy demonstrates this approach in her role at IIBA and in every interaction I have had with her. I have known her to be dedicated, reliable, well-prepared, thorough, and clear in her communications to our chapters about how we can grow and succeed. I am grateful to have her guidance in the Southeastern Region of the IIBA.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to have her share her knowledge with us again soon at the South Florida IIBA Chapter. Until then, we will continue to tune in to the Optimistic BA Blog. We wish her all the best in her endeavors.
