Good News

For the last year, I have shared health news, most of which was not good. In March, I had minor surgery to repair my right femoral artery leak from a pseudoaneurysm. My ultrasound on Friday verified the stent installed in March had stopped the leak. In an additional conversation with the doctor, he also told me the muscle flap was permanent rather than temporary.

I was on so many drugs in August that I missed the conversation where he shared this with me. That reduces the chance that I will ever need aortic bypass surgery. I don’t think I have been this excited in a long time. I almost left Terry at the doctor’s office. The relief I feel now that my life and business are no longer on hold is indescribable.

I can travel, and I am speaking at some conferences in May. I will start talking about more exciting things, and I can move forward with some things I want to do for my business. Thanks to all of you who have supported me with all my health issues. Spring is my favorite season, and it is blooming in Nebraska! Until next time, please keep your glass at least half-full!
